Examination Cell

“All the Best for Your Successful Examination NOV/DEC 2024”

  1. Students enter into the examination hall 15 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
  2. Students should occupy the allotted seats at least 10 minutes before the commencement of all the examinations. While going to the examination hall, do not discuss with any other student.
  3. Hall tickets, ID cards and calculators should be checked by the students themselves before entering the Exam Hall.
  4. Strict silence in the examination hall is to be maintained.
  5. Students bring your Hall Ticket and ID card is must. It is important to write all the exams. Other ID will not be accepted. [Without ID Card you are not permitted to write the exam]
  6. Late comers not allowed after 30 Min. [Morning Session After 10.30 am and Afternoon Session 2.30pm]
  7. Students writing regular exams should not leave the exam hall before 1.00 pm (Forenoon session) / 5 pm (Afternoon session) i.e. for the full 3 hours and they should leave the corridor immediately after coming out of the exam halls.
  8. Students should enter the examination hall only when the hall Superintendent is present.
  9. Students should verify the Register Number, Paper Name, Paper Code, Date of Examination; Invigilation sign etc., of the answer books are legible. If there is any discrepancy, they should report it to the invigilator immediately.
  10. Kindly avoid using Mobile Phones, Smart Watch, Electronic Device etc., in the examination hall. (Possession is considered cheating).
  11. No sharing calculators or any other materials during the exam.
  12. Not allowed to Rest Room during the examination time.
  13. Submit your answer script to the invigilator immediately after the exam over.
  14. Only stationery things, student ID card, Hall Ticket and drinking water allowed on the desk.
  15. All student possessions must be placed at the front of the room.
  16. No talking among the students and invigilator.
  17. Students should not enter the Exam Hall without proper dress code & ID Card.
  18. Candidates should not carry any written / printed material, cell phone, pen drive, iPod, programmable calculator and any unauthorized data sheet / tables / data books into the examination hall. Possession of any of the above materials will be considered as malpractice.
  19. Students are not allowed to exchange pencil, eraser, scale and calculator inside the exam hall.
  20. Malpractice
    1. In case of malpractice in the Semester Examination hall, all the courses in that semester remain cancelled.
    2. He/ she will not be permitted to appear other examinations (including the current).
    3. Invigilator is responsible for all kind of Malpractice.
    4. If any malpractice find out by the invigilator he / she should inform immediately to the Chief Superintendent.

Before the Examination

  1. Attending duty for stipulated examination is a must.
  2. Report to the examination cell half an hour before the commencement of the examination.
  3. The forenoon session of examination commences at 10.00 a.m. and the afternoon session at 2.00 p.m.
  4. The Invigilator should reach the hall at 9.30 a.m. / 1.30 p.m. sharp along with the answer script.
  5. The answer script should be distributed at 9.45 a.m./ 1.45 p.m. so as to allow the candidates to fill in all the information in the answer script.
  6. The question paper should be distributed to the candidates sharp at 10.00 a.m. / 2.00 p.m. after the bell rings.
  7. Count the number of answer books.
  8. Check the whether the serial numbers of the answer books are legible.
  9. Leave the C.O.E. office 15 minutes before the exam starts for your respective examination hall; do not go anywhere else.
  10. No Candidate will be allowed to enter the room after 10.30 a.m. / 2.30 p.m. and allowed to leave the room before 10.30 a.m. / 2.30 p.m.
  11. While going to the examination hall, do not converse (Speak, Discuss) with any student.

During the Examination

  1. Kindly avoid using mobile phones in the examination hall. Keep them on silent mode or switch off and handover to Office.
  2. Enter the examination hall 15 minutes before the exam begins with the answer books.
  3. If the board in the examination hall is not clean inform to the C.O.E. office immediately.
  4. Students should enter the examination hall only when the hall Superintendent is present after showing their palms.
  5. Follow the seating arrangements strictly.
  6. The Invigilator should ask the candidates to:
  7. Check that the answer books supplied to them are not defective and if so, to secure another copy from the Invigilator in lieu of the first one.
  8. Check the question paper with reference to page numbers, code number subject code and title of the paper.
  9. Check that the Register Number, as exactly given in the Hall Ticket, is written by the candidate in the appropriate place in the answer script and that the digits are written legibly without over-writing.
  10. Invigilators are instructed to put their signature on the answer script should after verifying the Register Number and Subject Code written by the candidates.
  11. The hall Ticket of each candidate should be checked with his / her photograph pasted and the signature signed in the attendance sheet.
  12. The discrepancy in the Register Number / Signature of the candidate if detected should be informed immediately to the chief superintendent.
  13. In case a candidate is found using unfair means in the examination, the matter should be reported to the Chief Superintendent immediately.
  14. Issue the question papers only at the bell.
  15. Before signing the Main Sheet carefully check the Hall Ticket, ID card and the details furnished in the main sheet.
  16. Get the sign from the student in attendance sheet. If student is absent leave it blank [Put AAA – ABSENT IN RED Ball Point Pen]
  17. Sign only wherever it is required.
  18. Be on the move till the exam is over.
  19. In case you find any malpractice bring it to the notice of the Chief Superintendent immediately.
  20. Strict silence in the examination hall is to be observed.
  21. Go to the individual candidate to record the attendance; do not make any announcements.
  22. Collect the answer sheets only at the bell. Final Bell. Warning bell inform.
  23. Candidates should leave the exam hall only after 3 hours of exam.
  24. Count the answer books before leaving the hall.
  25. The invigilators must count the answer scripts and cross check them once again with the attendance of the candidates before leaving the examination hall/ room. These must be handed over to the Chief Superintendent after proper checking in his/ her office.

After the Examination

  1. Submit all the answer books to the examination cell immediately after the exam.
  2. Leave the examination cell only after packing the answer books.
  3. Sign the duty register before leaving the examination cell
